A nurturing, faith-filled early childhood program for ages 2½–5
Early Childhood Education
Saint Mary's Preschool provides a nurturing, faith-filled environment where young children take their first steps in education. Our program is rooted in the belief that children learn best through play, and integrates Catholic faith formation into every aspect of daily life.
The preschool serves children ages 2½ to 5 years old and is spiritually, physically, cognitively, and socially oriented. Older classes attend monthly Adoration and Mass as part of their formation.
We offer Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level 1 for children ages 3–6 — a peaceful, hands-on, Montessori-based faith formation experience in an Atrium setting with guided exploration and one-on-one presentations. This approach helps children encounter Jesus in a deep, personal way.
Maximum capacity of 54 children. The preschool is religiously exempt from Virginia state licensure per Code of Virginia § 63.2-1716.
Monthly Adoration attendance and Mass for 4-year-old classes. Catholic values woven into daily routines and curriculum.
